Welcome to Worthing Sailing Club

  • A place for sailing as a sport, training and community. Founded in 1957 with a new club house opened in 2014 situated on the beach at Goring, just west of Worthing town centre.
  • We welcome members of all abilities.
  • Membership includes organised racing Sundays and bank holidays March to November.
  • RYA training is free to members 8+ May to September.
  • The club has catering and bar facilities and an active social calendar.
  • There is a sizable boat compound for sailing dinghies.

A little later this year, apologies but no ones boat has been cut in half yet. They will be available from the club - behind the bar from Saturday. Congratulations to Our Four New Assistant Instructors

We are thrilled to announce that four of our talented youth sailors have successfully passed their Assistant Instructor (AI) qualification in April. Successful Patrol Boat and Tractor Briefing Session

On March 29th, our members gathered for a highly successful briefing session on patrol boat operations and tractor usage. Thanks to Guy, Jerry, and Phil, who expertly covered all the essential areas, everyone received a thorough refresher on preparing, launching, and recovering patrol boats, using the tractor and radios.
