Now well underway with relatively light winds but 29 boats on the water under the control of the race officer Jerry, (although from my vantage point its a collective of race officers). A 15 minute delay for the first start, mostly because the lock gates at Shoreham had a technical fault - long story but the committee boat loaned to the club by Chris Painter was slightly late arriving.

If you have time the racing is close and an excellent spectacle enjoyed from the comfort of the club balcony.
