Worthing Sailing Club Quiz Night Raises Funds for Tall Ships Charity

On Saturday, 22nd February, Worthing Sailing Club hosted another fantastic quiz evening, organised by the ever-dedicated Bob to support the Tall Ships Charity. Bob's passion for the cause shone through as he rallied the community for a night of fun and fundraising.

Quiz master Richard challenged even the most seasoned sailors with his expertly crafted questions.

Despite a few absences due to illness, five determined teams competed fiercely for the top spot. The Commodores team came prepared with an enviable buffet, while Race 69 team tried (unsuccessfully) to distract others with their paper aeroplane stunts.

In the end, the winning team emerged victorious, showcasing their impressive sailing knowledge. The evening was a resounding success, raising over £650 for the Tall Ships Charity through the raffle and auction. Tim did a fantastic job hosting the auction of high-end sailing gear and even managed to secure the highest bid for a new Tall Ships cap.
