A Message from the Bosun: Reporting Damages Let's Keep the Sailing Smooth!

Members Help Keep Our Club Sailing!

As a club, we all share the responsibility to ensure that our equipment is well-maintained and in working order. Whether you're sailing or carrying out a duty at Worthing Sailing Club, it's crucial that you report any damages to club equipment from the tractor, to the club boats, or safety boats. We understand that things break from time to time, but the real problem occurs when issues go unreported.

Unreported damages lead to disruptions, prevent smooth sailing, and can result in cancelled sessions something none of us want. To prevent this, we have made it easy for you to report any problems. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Scan the QR code available at the club.
  2. Email us directly at [email protected].

The recent photo of adult and youth members pulling the safety boat out of the water was a perfect example of why it's so important to report damage. The tractor had broken down, but no one reported it, leading to unnecessary delays and effort.

Let's work together to keep the sailing fun and running smoothly!

Yours Sincerly

The Bosun Team
